As Thurrock Pride ’26 takes place on 13th June, TCBR is repeating a show recorded last year for Thurrock Pride ’25. Nigel Freeman will be playing music that in so many ways have defined the LGBTQ+ community over many decades.
The community has embraced artists such as Cher, Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Madonna, Kylie, Lady Gaga and so many more as Icons.
So many of these songs transcend gender, race and cultural differences and we are all in some way united by music.
I met up with Jo Sedley-Burke, Chair Of Thurrock LGBTQ+ Network a few days ago to talk to her about Thurrock Pride 25 and that interview is included in this show
