We are pleased to announce the next walk as part of our partnership with the RSPB Rainham Marshes Reserve. We will be running a number of joint events in the coming months. This is a guided walk around the Reserve highlighting the military buildings from the Royal Magazine and Purfleet Shooting Range that remain. This will take place on Sunday 22nd March 2026, starting at 11am.

ELECTIONS for Thurrock's 49 councillors are now back on - after the Labour government announced a U-turn on its plans to cancel them. It seems likely that it will be 'all-out elections' for 49 seats, which ws the original proposal for Thurrock under guidance from its commissioners.
